Frank Drury founded a small silvermithing workshop in Cemetery Road in 1904. In 1926 he bought a factory in Rockingham Street. Soon after a disastrous fire destroyed the Rockingham Street premises in 1949 the company moved to Leah's Yard at 20 Cambridge Street.
